The Febino Digital team supplies, configures and services servers, storage and backup — and builds the network that connects them: structured cabling, fibre backbone, LAN switching, enterprise Wi-Fi and firewalls. One reliable IT backbone for your office, factory, hospital or campus, and for CCTV, access control and BMS — across Kolkata and India.
Internet enters through a firewall that protects the whole site. A core switch in the server room connects to floor / building access switches over a fibre backbone. Access switches feed every desk, Wi-Fi access point and IP device over Cat6 / Cat6A cabling — with PoE powering cameras, access readers and APs directly. VLANs keep IT, CCTV, access control and BMS traffic separate and secure on the same network. Servers and storage sit in the server room next to the core switch, so every user and device reaches files, applications and recordings at full speed.
What each block in the diagram above does, and what the Febino Digital team takes care of for it.
The connection from your internet service provider. A leased line gives fixed, guaranteed speed for offices; broadband is cheaper for small sites. Many businesses use two ISPs so the internet stays up if one fails.
The security gate between the internet and your network. It blocks attacks and unsafe websites, gives staff and branches secure VPN access, and shares traffic across two internet links.
The heart of the network, in the server rack. Every floor switch, server and the firewall connect to it. It routes traffic between VLANs, and the patch panels keep every cable neatly labelled.
Servers run your applications, files, ERP / accounts and user logins; the NVR stores CCTV recordings. Both sit next to the core switch so everyone reaches them at full speed.
Optical fibre links the core switch to switches on other floors and buildings. OM3 multi-mode suits runs inside a building; OS2 single-mode covers long distances between buildings. Fibre is fast and immune to electrical noise.
One switch per floor or building connects all the nearby devices and uplinks to the core over fibre. PoE (Power over Ethernet) ports power cameras, Wi-Fi points and phones through the same network cable.
Copper network cable from the floor switch to every desk outlet and device, up to 100 m. Cat6 suits most offices; Cat6A carries 10 Gbps and high-power PoE for the latest Wi-Fi and cameras.
Staff computers and laptops on wired desk points — the office's everyday IT network for email, internet, files and business software.
Ceiling-mounted access points give wireless coverage for laptops, phones and scanners, with seamless roaming and a separate, safe guest Wi-Fi.
Network printers, IP desk phones, biometric attendance and other office devices that plug into the network and are shared by many users.
IP cameras are powered by PoE and stream video to the NVR. Keeping them on their own VLAN protects office bandwidth and stops outsiders reaching the cameras.
Door controllers and biometric / card readers talk to the access control server over the network, on a separate security VLAN.
BMS controllers, energy meters and IoT sensors send data over BACnet / Modbus TCP to the BMS server, isolated from the office network.
IP speakers and paging stations for announcements and background music, sent over the network with priority so the audio never breaks up.
Febino Digital builds complete network infrastructure for offices, industrial plants, hospitals, hotels, schools and warehouses across Kolkata — from the first cable to the last configured port. The same network then carries your CCTV, access control, BMS and PA systems reliably.
Cat6 / Cat6A copper cabling, information outlets, patch panels, cable trays and labelling — tested and certified link by link.
Single-mode and multi-mode fibre between floors, buildings and plant areas with splicing, LIU and OTDR / loss testing.
Core, distribution and access switches with VLANs, redundancy and PoE / PoE+ to power cameras, readers and access points.
Site-survey based Wi-Fi 6 / 6E / 7 access points with central controller, guest Wi-Fi, seamless roaming and captive portal.
Next-generation firewall / UTM, secure VPN for remote sites, web filtering, dual-ISP failover and load balancing.
Wall-mount and floor-standing racks, PDUs, cable management, UPS and cooling — neat, labelled and easy to maintain.
IT parks, multi-floor offices, co-working spaces.
Plant-wide fibre, shop-floor switches, SCADA and CCTV networks.

A complete networking system covers structured cabling (Cat6 / Cat6A copper and fibre backbone), network racks, patch panels and cable management, core / distribution / access switches with PoE, enterprise Wi-Fi access points, a firewall / UTM for internet security, and testing and certification of every link. Febino Digital designs, supplies, installs and documents the whole network.
Cat6 supports 1 Gbps up to 100 m and 10 Gbps up to about 55 m, which suits most offices. Cat6A supports 10 Gbps over the full 100 m and handles high-power PoE better, so it is recommended for Wi-Fi 6/6E/7 access points, PoE lighting and long-life installations. For links between buildings or floors beyond 100 m, fibre optic cable is used.
Yes. With VLANs and QoS, one well-designed network can safely carry IT data, IP CCTV, access control, BMS and IP PA traffic separately. Febino Digital plans the VLANs, PoE power budget and bandwidth so that security and building systems run reliably alongside office IT.
Yes. Every copper link is tested for continuity and performance, and fibre links are tested for loss. We hand over test reports, labelled patch panels, rack elevations and as-built drawings so the network is easy to maintain and expand.
It depends on the number of users, the applications (file sharing, ERP / Tally, database, CCTV recording, virtual machines) and how critical uptime is. Small offices often need one tower server; larger sites use rack servers with RAID, redundant power supplies and virtualisation. The Febino Digital team studies your users and applications and recommends the right CPU, memory, storage and backup.
Yes. The Febino Digital team installs and configures the server — RAID, operating system, virtualisation, Active Directory, file shares, user access and backup — and then maintains it with health monitoring, OS and firmware updates, backup checks and hardware replacement coordination under warranty or AMC.
Yes. Febino Digital provides Annual Maintenance Contracts for servers and networks across Kolkata and India — covering server health checks, backup checks, preventive checks, switch and firewall firmware updates, configuration backups, cable and port faults, Wi-Fi tuning and on-call support.
